A personal signature (just me)
No company directory? Make one signature, copy it and paste it into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. Free forever.
If you only need a signature for yourself, pick Just me after you sign up. There's no workspace to set up and no directory to connect, and it's free forever.
Personal email addresses (Gmail, Outlook.com, iCloud, Yahoo and similar) always get a personal signature. To set up a team, sign up with your work email.
Make it
- Sign up, open the confirmation email, then choose Just me.
- Enter your name and, if you like, your company.
- On My signature, fill in your details: job title, phone, mobile, pronouns, a booking link and a photo. Click Save and the preview updates.
- Click Edit design to change the layout, colors, logo or social links in the signature editor.
Put it in your mail app
Click Copy signature, then follow the steps for your app on the same page:
- Gmail on the web: gear → See all settings → Signature → Create new, paste, pick it under Signature defaults, then Save Changes.
- Outlook on the web and new Outlook: Settings → Account → Signatures → New signature, paste, choose it for new messages and replies, then save. Classic Outlook for Windows: File → Options → Mail → Signatures.
- Apple Mail, iPhone and iPad, and the Gmail and Outlook phone apps: the steps are on the page.
When you change your details or the design, copy and paste it again. A personal signature isn't updated in your mail app automatically.
What a personal signature doesn't do
A personal signature is copy and paste only. It doesn't connect a directory, deploy to mailboxes, run campaigns or show analytics, and you can't add teammates. Those come with a team.
Moving to a team
Click Set up a team on My signature. Your personal signature keeps working while you set up the team. If other people at your company made personal signatures too, we tell you, so you can bring everyone onto one matching signature.
If your company already manages signatures here, My signature says so. Nothing changes for you: your personal signature keeps working, and once your admin's directory syncs, your company signature is on your signature page.
